MP3 Tag: Use files in the Release Wizard

You don't need to download your files and re-upload them in the release. You can transfer them directly from MP3-Tag into your release.

Here's how:

1. Edit your files in Tools → MP3-Tag and save them.
2. Start a new release or open an existing one.
3. In the Release Wizard (Step 1), you'll find the section "Or select audio files from MP3-Tag".
4. There you'll see files that match the track. Tick the checkbox next to the files you want.
5. Continue through the wizard. The files will be added to the release.

Replace an audio file: For a track that has already been created, you can replace the file with a file from MP3-Tag using "File from MP3-Tag …".

What happens:

1. The file is moved to the release including its tags.
2. If the file contains an ISRC, it will be entered for the track as your own ISRC (Step 2 in the wizard).
3. The file is then no longer available in MP3-Tag. You'll find it there in the section "Used in releases", but you can no longer edit it.

Don't see any files? Then you have no free files in MP3-Tag. Use Open MP3-Tag to go straight there.
